Flu Vaccination

'Walk-in' with no appointment necessary

Keep the bugs away this winter with our flu vaccination service. The flu is a highly infectious viral condition that involves a variety of symptoms, including fever, chills, sore throat and muscle aches. It can lead to serious complications, such as bronchitis or pneumonia. The vaccination takes place in the autumn months to keep you protected throughout the winter.

The NHS Flu Vaccination service is currently available for free to patients who belong to “high risk” categories and are registered with a GP in the Greenwich borough. The patients who are considered at high risk are:

  • Aged over 65
  • Suffering from asthma or lung disease
  • Having a chronic heart disease
  • Having diabetes
  • Suffering from chronic kidney or liver condition
  • That had a stroke in the past
  • That are immunocompromised or are taking medicines that lower your natural defences

For the NHS service, we will notify your GP after you have been vaccinated.

The Flu Vaccination service is also available privately for a fee at Rose Pharmacy. Please contact us for the current price.
